Good Friday

Worship in the new building.
This past weekend we celebrated Easter. On Good Friday, our Budapest congregation had the opportunity to visit the new building and spend time worshipping God. It was officially the first service held at our new ministry center, although no renovations have actually started yet. It was a special time for everyone, and it definitely made us all hunger for the day we can move in permanently!

A Place to Call 'Home'

There is a saying that “home is where the heart is”. Our hearts are in Hungary. For the first time in the History of OMS Hungary we have a place to call home. The picture to the right is the new OMS Ministry Center….well, it will be!

This 150 year old building has been a pizza shop, a grocery store, and even a sculptors studio. Our vision is to see it become a 2 story ministry center where leaders and church planters will be trained, church services will take place, special events and programs will be held, and where Christ will be shared with as many Hungarians as possible.

In Europe buildings are expensive. God has blessed us with this building at an incredibly reasonable price that was less than we had on hand in a fund for such a building. To renovate it into what we believe God wants it to be will require volunteers and resources. Soon we will be posting more information about this project. Here on our blog you can view pictures and follow the transformation progress. If you would like  to donate towards the project to make this building become our “home” please see the information on the side bar.
